BRECHIN CITY LAUNCH GLEBE PARK VIRTUAL TOUR
From the Directors Box to the Penalty Box – and everywhere in between!
Brechin City FC has been working together with Aberdeen-based corporate design and communications specialist Mercury 92, in a unique collaboration which sees the launch of a brand new experience – The Glebe Park Virtual Tour.
Using leading edge technology, a series of 360° spherical images have been pulled together to give online visitors the opportunity to enjoy a brand new virtual tour of the Club’s Glebe Park home.
Using a series of themed hotspots, fans can see the results of this ground-breaking image capture technology and explore the stadium at their leisure. In addition to the ground itself and the various hospitality areas, supporters can enjoy exploring behind the scenes, with exclusive footage from inside the home dressing room, the Physio’s room and the kit room – restricted areas which have been legitimately described as the matchday heartbeat of The Club.
Mercury 92’s technical team also captured imagery from the areas immediately adjacent to the ground – something which would doubtless be of assistance to away supporters or first time visitors to The Club.
To enhance the Virtual Tour experience there are also a series of information hotspots which provide additional information in the form of simple narratives, links to relevant web pages and videos.
In addition to the 360° static imagery, fans can walk from the home dressing room to the centre circle through a 360° video version – providing a genuinely unique virtual view.
