Profile
A French national from the Caribbean archipelago of Guadeloupe, Benjamin arrived in Scotland when he signed for the Queen of the South in the summer of 2019 from FC Rezé, a side based in Nantes in Western France.
During his time at Palmerston, he spent two successful loan spells at Lowland League outfit Gretna 2008, with his stay cut short due to the enforced league shutdown in March 2020.
Standing at 6 foot 1, Benjamin adds a real physical presence to the heart of the midfield and can also play in defence.
Following his arrival, Manager Mark Wilson said, "I'd like to welcome Benjamin to the Club. He's a player that I've been in touch with over the summer and the deal has taken a wee while to get over the line.
"He was previously at Queen of the South and we feel his attributes fit into our plans and the way we want to play at Brechin. He's a hugely ambitious young lad. He made his way over here from France looking to succeed in Scotland and we believe that we can give him the platform to do that.
"He will help us to be a better team - he adds height and physicality but he's also very good on the ball. He's a fit player who can turn defence into attack very quickly in the middle of the park for us."
