Gregor was a free agent since leaving Dunfermline Athletic and played as a trialist for City throughout pre-season, with his performances thoroughly meriting a contract offer at Glebe Park.

Gregor started out with Dunfermline aged 11 and graduated from the Fife Elite Academy before signing a two year apprentice deal at the Pars in 2018. Whilst at East End Park, Gregor gained some valuable experience on loan at Kennoway Star Hearts last season.

After Gregor put pen to paper for the Club, Manager Mark Wilson commented, "Gregor is another young player that fits the mould perfectly of what we are after. He is ambitious and comes from a good background having been with Dunfermline for a number of years.

"He's been on trial with us so we've been able to have a good look at him. He certainly has the attributes that we require in our defenders - he's tall, strong, physical and probably one of the fittest at the Club. He makes good use of the ball and is certainly one that will come in and give us plenty competition for places in the heart of our defence this season."
