'Jacko' Departs

The Club can confirm that Andy Jackson has been released from his contract due to work commitments.
The popular striker re-joined the club in January from near neighbours Forfar Athletic but was limited to just seven appearances with the season being curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A change in work commitments meant the 32 year-old was unable to train regularly and as a result felt it would be unfair to compete for a starting place on that basis.
Initially signed in 2012, 'Jacko' netted 80 goals during his first spell with the Club which saw him become a firm fans favourite.
Manager Mark Wilson commented, "Obviously we are sad to see him go but Andy made us aware that due to work commitments he wouldn't be able to fulfil his contract to the best of his ability. It was an incredibly difficult decision for him and that is something that I admire.
"After what has happened over the last few months with the virus, we couldn't stand in his way or make it difficult for him when he has a young family to support and other commitments.
"We wish him all the best and we'd like to thank him for all his efforts at the Club during my time here and I'm sure it will be echoed by the supporters given he was hugely successful in his previous spell."
