Brechin City FC is delighted to confirm that Club Captain Euan Spark has signed a 2-year contract extension to keep him at City until the summer of 2026.

‘Sparky’ re-joined the Club from Elgin City in May 2022 and has been almost ever-present in the heart of defence over the last 2 seasons and was a vital cog in the side that clinched the Highland League Championship in 2022/23.

Well respected by supporters and fellow team-mates, he was voted joint Players’ Player of the Year alongside Lewis Martin last season which added to the Supporters' Player of the Year award he picked up the season prior.

Manager Patrick Cregg commented, "We are absolutely delighted to have Euan on board. His experience and professionalism is very important and he'll be a huge part of the group this season both on and off the park.

He obviously has strong links to the Club living and working locally and it's important to have a nucleus of players that have an attachment to the town."
