Profile
Manager Mark Wilson clinched the signing of experienced midfielder Martin 'Jimmy' Scott on an 18-month contract at the tail end of the January 2020 transfer window. He has represented no fewer than eight clubs and has been capped at Under 21 level for Scotland.
He came through the youth system at his hometown club Livingston before signing for Ross County where he undoubtedly enjoyed his best years. He went on to make 158 appearances for the Staggies and notably scored the second goal in a 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic in 2010, before losing out in the final to Dundee United.
An £80,000 move to Hibernian followed where he struggled to hold down a regular starting berth before being loaned back to County for the 2012/13 season.
A return to Livingston and a spell with Raith Rovers followed, before exploring a new challenge with Indian side Salgaocar. He returned to Scotland in July 2016 and signed for Dick Campbell's Arbroath side where he helped the Lichties to the League 2 title, netting ten goals along the way.
In recent years 'Jimmy' has represented Stenhousemuir, Cowdenbeath and more recently Cove Rangers where he picked up Highland League and Highland League Cup winners medals.
Jimmy netted on his debut for City against Elgin in February 2020 and ended the season with a brace away to Champions Cove Rangers.
