Raith Rovers kept their two-point lead at the top of Division Two with goals from Robert Sloan and Graham Weir.

Rovers defender Mark Campbell nodded against his own crossbar and a Brechin keeper Craig Nelson made a tremendous save from a Sloan header.

Sloan broke the deadlock on 75 minutes with a stunning curling free-kick from 22 yards which whizzed beyond Nelson.

And Rovers tied up the points when Ian Williamson squared the ball for Weir to squeeze it home from eight yards
