Brechin earned a Second Division victory over Stenhousemuir courtesy of Mark Archdeacon's second-half strike.

The visitors took a seventh-minute lead when Rory McAllister powered a header past Scott Bennett from Charlie King's accurate cross.

But Ian Diack levelled just after the half-hour mark with a clinical finish.

Both sides pressed for a winner and Archdeacon settled the match with a shot from 12 yards on 66 minutes to keep Brechin's promotion hopes up.
