Brechin's Rory McAllister and Airdrie's Scott Gibson were both sent off as the sides drew a bad-tempered game.

Kevin Byers curled a shot into the top corner to put Brechin ahead after 23 minutes and McAllister went close.

Byers fired over, but Gibson slotted the qualiser from close range in the 53rd minute to level the scores.

Three minutes later, McAllister picked up his second booking and a game featuring six yellow cards ended with Gibson sent off after 78 minutes.
