Rory McAllister continued his fine scoring form as Brechin cruised into the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The striker fired the visitors ahead from close range only for Bryan Gilfillan to head level on six minutes.
Craig Molloy drilled home from 25 yards to restore Brechin's lead, while David McKenna and Kevin Byers added strikes before the break to end the contest.
Andrew Aitken pulled one back for Annan but McAllister had the last say to set up a clash with Queen of the South.
