Second Division outfit Brechin City knocked Queen of the South out of the Scottish Cup with a fourth-round victory at Palmerston Park.
Kevin Byers fired the visitors in front in the 17th minute with a low shot from 20 yards out.
And Rory McAllister doubled Brechin's lead before half-time with a shot high into the net.
Colin McMenamin pulled one back for Queens and was denied an equaliser by Craig Nelson's save from close range.
Brechin's reward for beating a side a league above them is an away tie against either East Stirlingshire or Buckie Thistle in round five.
The Glebe Park side had a couple of off-target shots in the opening five minutes, McAllister firing wide before Mark Docherty cleared the crossbar.
Queens responded with Paul Burns's shot, that was saved by Brechin keeper Nelson.
But it was Brechin who went ahead when Byers' drive found the bottom right corner.
The onus was now on the hosts to attack but McMenamin was unable to convert after being found by Rocco Quinn's cross and Nelson was on hand to block an effort by Holmes.
Brechin continued to pose the Queens defence problems and Docherty's cross was headed wide from close range by David McKenna, who minutes later forced Robinson into a save.
Brechin moved further ahead 10 minutes before the break when McAllister retrieved Docherty's pass and blasted the ball into the top corner with the outside of his left foot.
Former Scotland winger Allan Johnston replaced David Lilley for Queens at the start of the second half as the home side looked to turn the tie around.
But it was Brechin who threatened first after the break, McAllister once again testing Robinson.
Quinn fired wide from inside the Brechin penalty area and a long range effort by Robert Harris also missed the target for Queens.
In between times, McAllister's shot from almost 40 yards out rattled the Queens crossbar.
Robinson blocked Docherty's shot before McMenamin gave the Dumfries side hope.
The forward picked up 19 yards from goal and angled a shot into the net.
And McMenamin had chances to level the scores, firing wide before having a shot from close range blocked by Nelson's one-handed save.
McAllister cleared the crossbar from inside the six-yard box and, at the other end, Holmes headed over.
Queens continued to press with Burns firing over and Nelson making another save, this time from Holmes's shot.
But Brechin held on and substitute James Redman drew a save from Robinson in the closing stages.
