Brechin City 1 Alloa Athletic 3

Match Report - By John Hoey

Brechin City lost their first home league game of the season yesterday after going down by 3-1 to an impressive Alloa Athletic side.

Alloa had much the better of the opening 45 minutes but City came out after the break in determined fashion and grabbed the lead in the 51st minute through Andy Jackson who maintained his record of scoring in every league game so far.

The Wasps though hit back and levelled the match through Robert Thomson in the 65th minute and further goals from Kevin Cawley and substitute Martin Grehan wrapped up the win for Paul Hartley's men.
