Brechin City made a winning return to Glebe Park after a lengthy absence by beating East Fife by 2-0
In a hard-fought and evenly contested match, two second-half goals from substitute Ryan Donnelly and Alan Trouten wrapped up the points for City who fully deserved their victory.
City started with Graeme Smith in goal and a back-four of Steven Jackson, Hay, McGlauchlan and Robb who was making his City debut.
The midfield four were Trouten, Walker, Anderson and Barr with Andy Jackson sitting just behind Derek Carcary up front.
The first chance of the game fell to the visitors after just three minutes when a Craig Johnstone drive from the edge of the bar skimmed the City cross-bar.
City's first chance came after 18 minutes when Stuart Anderson delivered a great pass through to Carcary but unfortunately Del was marginally offside.
City had another good opportunity a couple of minutes later when a Graham Hay pass was headed across the penalty-box by Andy Jackson into the path of Carcary who fired a shot against the post but the referee blew for a foul against Jackson which seemed an inexplicable decision.
City threatened again after 23 minutes with Anderson again the provider sending a great pass through to Bobby Barr deep in the visitors penalty-box but he steered his shot just wide of the target.
At the other end, Liam Buchanan broke free and fired in a shot which went narrowly past Smith's right-hand post and the big keeper was called into action twice again in the space of a couple of minutes when he dived bravely at the feet of Paul Willis and then Buchanan.
City hit back and an Alan Trouten shot from just within the opposition penalty-box was cleared off the line by Gary Thom.
Willis came close once more for the Fifers eight minutes from the break when his angular drive from the right-hand edge of the penalty-area skimmed Smith's right-hand post.
The opening stages of the second-half was well contested by both teams but City made the vital breakthrough after 65 minutes.
The ball was played out to Trouten wide on the right, and when his cross came into the box, substitute Ryan DONNELLY rose well above the Fifers defence to bullet a header well beyond the reach of Michael Andrews.
City were now firing on all cylinders and they wrapped up the points with seven minutes remaining.
The ball was played into the East Fife box and cannoned off an East Fife defender into the path of TROUTEN who slotted the ball into the far corner of the net.
Trouts came close again a couple of minutes later when his shot ran agonisingly along the goal-line and hit the post before rolling back into the arms of Andrews.
