Substitute Bryan Gilfillan scored a late equaliser as Peterhead rescued a point at home to Brechin.
Following a drab first half, Alan Trouten broke the deadlock for the visitors, slotting home after some good work by Andrew Jackson.
The visitors could have been further ahead soon after had Trouten's effort not come back off a post.
And they were left to rue that wasted opportunity when Gilfillan finished from close range on 88 minutes.
