Brechin have wasted no time in strengthening their squad for next season. Queen of the South centre half David Craig has agreed to join City on a one year deal.

Craig has featured at centre half and left back for the Doonhamers this season. City fans may remember him playing for Ayr United last season. Standing at 6 foot 2, the 34 year old will add a bit of height to the City rearguard.

This adds to the new deals agreed by Paul Deas, Grant Johnson and Steve Ferguson recently.

Manager Ian Campbell has his eyes on a few other players and no doubt it will not be long before there are some more new faces. Last weekend, John Young, John Ritchie and Bert Paton were dispersed around different grounds scouting players, although they were at the Glebe today to enjoy the championship celebrations.
