Brechin City will start the 2011/12 Irn Bru Second Division league campaign with a home game against Stenhousemuir on August 6th.

The following week City will travel to Cowdenbeath who they defeated in last season's play-offs.

Games against Dumbarton (Home) and Albion Rovers (Away) follow before the first local derby of the season against Forfar Athletic at Glebe Park on September 10th with another local derby against Arbroath taking place at the Glebe a fortnight later.
