The Club held its Annual General Meeting in the 1983 Lounge at Glebe Park last night. Over 60 members attended to hear reports from the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Manager Kevin McGowne.
Chairman Ken Ferguson reported on the outstanding 2010/11 season that saw the Club return to financial stability for the first time for over a decade. Thanks were extended to everyone who supported the Club either as sponsors, fans, volunteers, staff but especially the Managers and players who earned a place in the Club's history books. Vice Chairman/Treasurer Martin Smith presented the financial accounts that were approved by the members. Secretary Gus Fairlie reorted on the magnificent Cup run and the results of the season past. Kevin McGowne (on behalf of Manager Jim Weir who was away on business) reported on the additions to the squad and thanked the fans for their support over the season.
Messrs Ferguson, Smith and Fairlie were re-elected to the Management Committee to serve for a further 3 year term and Martin was presented with a gift from the Club to acknowledge 30 years of loyal service, one of the longest serving Club Officials in the country.
