Brechin City entertain Clyde in the first round of the Scottish Communities League Cup tomorrow at the Glebe.
It will be a warm welcome back to Glebe Park for former boss Jim Duffy who has done well at Broadwood in his short time in charge there.
City though will be determined to progress to the next round of the cup.
Manager Jim Weir said,
" I wasn't too despondent after our defeat from Falkirk last Saturday as I thought that the team played quite well."
" I thought that we had the better goal-scoring opportunities in the first-half, but unfortunately, we lost two goals from set-pieces which was disappointing."
" We must ensure that we make home advantage count tomorrow and I'm hopeful that I'll have a full squad available from which to choose my team."
Craig Nelson and Neil Janczyk both missed last Saturday, Nel because of suspension and Janny because he was attending a family wedding but they'll both be available for selection tomorrow."
" Craig Molloy also missed out and although he didn't train on Tuesday night, I'm hopeful that he'll be available as well."
" Derek Carcary who picked up a knock in the closing stages of last week's game has made a full recovery and he'll also come into contention for a place in the starting line-up."
