The Club wish to thank all the ladies who attended the annual sportswomen's dinner. An audience of over 100 heard from Sherriff Lindsay Wood before being entertained by an exuberant Robert T. Leonard. Former BCFC Chairman David Birse MC'd the event in his usual inimitable fashion. Thanks to everyone who donated raffle and auction items with around £4000 being raised on the night. The Club wish to thank Lisa and Arlene for all their hard work in organising the event.

'Once again the Club are very appreciative of the support given by the community to our annual sportswomen's dinner in the Northern Hotel last Saturday evening. We are very grateful to Lisa MacMillan and Arlene Wood for all the hard work they put into organising the dinner that raised over £4000 for club funds. I also wish to thank our former Chairman David Birse for comparing the evenings activities. By all accounts everyone in attendance had a most enjoyable evening and were thoroughly entertained by Sherriff Lindsay Wood and Robert T. Leonard. Thanks to everyone who organised a table and for those who bought a ticket or supported the auction and raffle. Roll on next year!'
