Brechin City's recent alliance with Brechin Castle Garden Centre has seen the latest activity completed, with the placing of a brand new "Next Home Game" sign adjacent to the nearby A90.
Commenting on the latest development, Brechin City Management Committee member Grant Hood said, "We've been on the lookout for some time for an opportunity of this nature, as The Club is keen to communicate more effectively with our existing fans and, perhaps in some cases, lapsed supporters. We also have a keen appetite to raise the awareness of Brechin City FC to anyone who is an occasional football fan, and fancies taking in a game periodically."
The eye-catching sign is at the south end of the Brechin by-pass and allows for information updates highlighting the next game scheduled for Brechin City's home ground of Glebe Park. Grant continued, "There are a number of creative initiatives in the pipeline to promote both The Club and Brechin Castle Garden Centre going forward.”
Yvonne Ritchie, Managing Director of Brechin Castle Garden Centre added, “We are very keen to continue working and developing our relationship with Brechin City FC. It is important that we support each other and the new advertising banner should raise awareness of the home games. The benefits for the town should be that we draw more people off of the A90."
