Brechin City are cautiously optimistic that tomorrow's Second Division fixture against Stenhousemuir will take place and at the present time there are no plans to call for a pitch inspection.

Club Secretary Gus Fairlie said,

" Although there was quite a hard frost overnight last night, there has been a slight thaw during the course of today and with temperatures predicted to be six or seven degrees overnight tonight, we are reasonably optimistic about the game's prospects."

" No pitch inspection is planned at the moment but we are keeping a close eye on the situation we'll update the website tomorrow morning to let supporters know what the situation is."
