MATCH PREVIEW
City played well in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against second placed Arbroath and will be determined to keep up the good work against the division’s basement side.
The Binos are seven points adrift of City having played the same number of games but Greig McDonald’s men sit only three points behind both Albion Rovers and Forfar and have everything to play for as they try to steer themselves away from bottom spot.
City sit just five points off the play-off positions and clearly, they will be absolutely determined to close the gap even further and to do that they will have to come away from Stirling with all three points.
The players will take heart from their good performance on Tuesday night and will be anxious to avenge their 1-0 defeat at Doubletree Dunblane Stadium way back at the beginning of October when a Darren Smith goal for the hosts after 19 minutes won the match for them.
City boss Jim Weir welcomes Craig Molloy back into the squad after his one-match suspension but Derek Carcary, Gerry McGlauchlan and Charlie King remain sidelined.
Stirling boss Greig McDonald will be without midfielders Josh Flood and Andy Hunter while there is also a doubt about experienced defender Marc McCulloch.
