Brechin City FC Management Committee, in conjunction with local business Brechin Castle Garden Centre, have this week confirmed an extended entry date for their Family VIP Day Competition.

As a reminder, entries are invited from City supporters which contain a photograph of a Brechin City top in some unusual location.

Speaking on behalf of The Club, Management Committee Member Grant Hood said, “The timing of the competition was always a tricky call. Much of the feedback we’ve had suggested supporters wanted to join in the spirit of the competition, but original May closing date excluded those who were to be away during the summer holidays. With this in mind we’ve decided to extend the competition so we’re now running with a revised closing date of Friday 31st August. Hopefully that gives the supporters who are off on their travels an opportunity to take a snapshot and submit an entry.” Entries have already been received from some far flung places, but unusual locations closer to home will be worthy entries too, as Grant continued, “It’s not solely about exotic or far flung locations – creativity and imagination at a local level could easily create a winning snapshot.”


The prize is sure to appeal to City fans, with the winning entrant enjoying the full VIP treatment like never before at a selected match during the 2012-13 season, consisting of:
