Despite the intense activity around The Club at present in light of the upcoming Ramsdens Cup Tie v. Rangers, there’s also an element of 'Business-As-Usual' within Brechin City’s commercial activities.
Looking at the season ahead, The Club is appealing to all supporters and businesses to contribute to the financial well-being of The Club, by sponsoring matches, players, match-balls as well as making full use of our exclusive 1983 Hospitality Lounge. Speaking on behalf of The Club’s Management Committee, Grant Hood said: "Despite the obvious boost the Club will receive through such a high profile opener to the season, supporters should remember that Scottish Football is having to re-align itself to a new financial landscape. Brechin City is no different, and the revenues from the Rangers game, although vital and hugely welcome, will only paper the over the cracks of the real financial challenges this Club of ours must face up to."
He added – "In short, our plea is to dig deep, and find a way to support Brechin City FC financially as well as vocally from the terraces."
Flyers will be distributed throughout the town during the remainder of July, and can be picked up at Glebe Park on match days, as well as from numerous local businesses including Ferguson Oliver and Brechin Castle Garden Centre.
