‘WARM-UP’ HOSPITALITY AT THE GLEBE

Cold Weather Hospitality Package
The Management Committee at Brechin City has confirmed a new initiative designed to enhance supporters’ match-day experience during the upcoming winter months.
Speaking on behalf of The Club, Committee man Grant Hood said, “In response to requests from supporters, we are now in a position to offer a hospitality package to cater for those who want to make use of our 1983 Hospitality Lounge specifically at half-time. Many supporters have said they don’t necessarily want a ‘full-on’ day at The Glebe on every visit, but would really like the opportunity for a half-time heat-up with hot food and refreshments during the cold winter months.”
The Club is now offering a “Cold Weather Hospitality Package” which will allow supporters half-time access to The 1983 Hospitality Lounge where they can enjoy hot food, as well as tea or coffee. Day guests using this new option can take advantage of the comforts of a heated environment to discuss the first-half action and catch-up on the TV coverage of the other football action up and down the UK.
Grant continued, “Access to The 1983 Lounge should ideally be pre-arranged to help with catering. Many supporters are well aware of the investment that The Club made in a pitch protection system, so this in turn should ensure that there is a greater likelihood that winter matches will go ahead on the originally scheduled date. Maybe we’re still a bit away from summer football in Scotland, but hopefully our supporters will recognise that this is another example of The Management Committee acting positively on suggestions made to The Club.
Day passes can be arranged by contacting the Club’s Commercial Line on 07817 910548, at a cost of only £5, and is available to season ticket holders and occasional supporters. Enquiries can also be e-mailed to ghood@brechincityfc.com . Rather than a game-by-game basis, supporters can also upgrade to this new half-time lounge access for the remainder of the season for £60.
“No-one should under-estimate the benefit of a 15-minute heat-up during half-time during the winter months. Supporters can enquire about availability on match-day by speaking to either Martin Smith or myself at the Hospitality entrance, which is now part of the Trinity Road turnstiles,” added Grant.
