As Brechin City prepares to celebrate its centenary year, acknowledgement must be given to the large part that local business has played in the club's recent run of success. From match sponsorship to perimeter and programme advertising, the local business community has helped to ensure the continued financial well-being of the club. In this, our special year, we hope to attract 10 local business people or businesses to join our B.B.C.C. scheme.
Membership entitles each group to:
* 1 special meal package (a meal at the Stables for up to 4 people followed by Boardroom hospitality).
* 2 free games for up to 4 people.
* 3 visits to the Executive Lounge for 2/3 people.
* 4 visits to the Boardroom for 2/3 people.
* Full accreditation in each home matchday programme.
* A centenary clock.
Membership costs £1000 for the season, payable:
in full by 31/08/2005, or
in 2 instalments of £500 by 31/08/2005 and 31/01/2006, or
in four payments of £250 by 31/08/2005, 30/11/2005, 31/01/2006 and 31/03/2006.
The second fundraising initiative is the Brechin City Centenary Club
Brechin City F.C. was founded in 1906 and now, 100 years later, we find ourselves in a vibrant, healthy state, about to embark on another season in the Scottish first division. Punching above our weight is a phrase often used about our club, but when you consider the resources of many of the teams in the leagues below us, it is indeed a very apt one.
To mark this very special year for Brechin City we are offering supporters and friends alike the opportunity to join our CENTENARY CLUB. This club will be limited to 100 members and will run for the duration of the 2005/2006 football season.
Club members will receive numerous benefits, culminating in a free 3 - course dinner in the Northern Hotel at the end of March. This night will be hosted by the Brechin City manager and, as well as exellent food, each member will receive a special centenary gift and his or her name engraved on a centenary plaque to be displayed on the new stand. There will also be a special draw on the night where one lucky member will win £500 in cash.
On joining the club each member will receive their centenary membership card which throughout the season, will entitle them to:
10% discount on bar lunches at the Northern Hotel
10% discount on goods bought at The Sporty*
10% discount on items bought at the Hardware Store*
*certain items exempt-ask in store.
NB Discounts apply to individual card holders only and membership cards are not transferable.
Membership of the club, which will be open to over 18s only. Will be on a first come first served basis. Membership can be paid:
in full by 31st August 2005, or
in 2 instalments of £50, one by 31/08/05 and the second by 31/01/06.
And finally.......
Brechin City Centenary 1-2-1 Club
