East Fife Preview - By John Hoey

EAST FIFE – BRECHIN CITY PREVIEW

Brechin City boss Ray McKinnon will go into tomorrow’s game against East Fife at Bayview Stadium without the services of defender Ewan Moyes who will be serving a one-game suspension and midfielder Craig Molloy who is still feeling the effects of an injury picked up in the 4-1 win against Forfar Athletic at Station Park on January 2nd.

The most likely scenario is that Gerry McGlauchlan will come in for Moysee at the heart of the defence with Garry Brady who played last week in the 3-2 win against Alloa again replacing Tiger in central midfield but we’ll just have to wait and see what the starting eleven will be.

City go into the game on the back of four straight wins while their opponents will be looking to make it two wins out of two games after last week’s home victory over Albion Rovers.

East Fife boss Billy Brown will be without defender Craig Johnstone who will sit out the game because of a suspension incurred after his ordering off in the 1-0 away defeat to Arbroath on 2nd January while former City favourites Paul McManus and Darren Smith along with midfielder David Muir are rated as doubtful.

The sides have met only once this season, at Glebe Park on 25th August when two early goals from Andy Jackson helped City to a narrow 2-1 win with Gareth Wardlaw netting a late consolation for the Fifers.

Tomorrow’s match will be handled by Kevin Clancy who, according to the statistics, will be refereeing City for the first time this season.
