Manager Ray McKinnon is pleased to confirm that prolific striker Andy Jackson has extended his contract with the club to the end of the 2003/14 season.

Commenting on the contract extension Manager Ray McKinnon said ' I am absolutely delighted to have secured the services of such an influential player as we enter the business part of the season and for season 2013/14. Andy may be at the top of the high scorer tables, it is also however the hard work he puts in whilst off the ball and supporting his team mates that makes him such a valuable member of our squad. I look forward to working with Andy in the future.'

Chairman Ken Ferguson said ' This contract extension is sign of the respect and regard the players have for Ray McKinnon and his fellow Coaches at the Club. Andy's record speaks for itself and we are delighted to hold onto him in the face if some stiff competition. For Brechin City to retain such a valuable player sends out strong message that we mean business and that we wish to continue and build on the success and feel good factor that Ray, Grant and Darren have brought to the Club.'
