Albion Rovers - Brechin City Preview

Brechin City head west to Cliftonhill tomorrow knowing that a win against Albion Rovers will almost certainly be enough to clinch a play-off position.

If near neighbours Forfar Athletic lose at home to champions Queen of the South, then City would just need one point from tomorrow's match to clinch the play-off spot the team have been striving for for so long.

However, at this stage it's all ifs and buts and manager Ray McKinnon will be impressing on his players the need to go out and play the type of football they're capable of to earn a vital victory against Rovers who still have a marginal chance of escaping the drop.

Skipper Ewan Moyes, Gareth Rodger, Craig Molloy and Derek Carcary all remain side-lined through injury but Graham Hay and Johnny Brown are available.

Albion boss Todd Lumsden goes into tomorrow's match without the services of four key players.

Defenders Alan Reid and Barry Russell are suspended while Mick Obyrne and Tony Stevenson are injured.

Tomorrow's Match Referee will be Paul Robertson who will be refereeing his fourth City match of the season.
