Brechin City v Stenhousemuir Match Preview
Brechin City boss Ray McKinnon will be looking to freshen up his side for tomorrow afternoons game against Stenhousemuir at Glebe Park.
With City making sure of their play-off place on Tuesday night after the 2-2 draw against Stranraer, Ray has indicated that he'll probably rest at least a couple of his regular players and give one or two of the fringe players the chance to stake their claim for a regular place in the side.
Craig Molloy remains unavailable but everyone else is fit which gives the manager plenty of options as he mulls over his starting line-up.
Stenny boss Martyn Corrigan will be without ex City defender Scot Buist for the trip to Glebe Park while striker John Gemmell is suspended.
The Warriors still have a chance of winning the last play-off place along with Arbroath and Forfar but their goal difference is vastly superior to that of the Lichties and Loons which could just make the difference at the end of the day.
The Warriors won the first game of the season between the sides, a League Cup tie, by 4-0, and following on from that opening day defeat, Stenny came out on top again a couple of weeks later with a 3-1 home win, but City gained sweet revenge at Glebe Park on 27th October when they romped home to a emphatic 7-2 victory.
The last game between the sides took place at Ochilview on 2nd March when six goals were shared.
The last ten results for each side are as follows :-
Brechin City - WWLLWLLWLD
Stenhousemuir - WDLDDLDWWW
The Match Referee will be Gary Hilland who's refereed City twice this season, the 3-1 defeat from Arbroath on 6th October and the 3-2 victory over the same side on Boxing Day.
The Match Sponsor for tomorrow's game is Matheson Jess while J & R Milne are sponsoring the Match Ball.
