Alloa Athletic v Brechin City Match Preview
Brechin City will head to Recreation Park tomorrow absolutely convinced that they have more than a fighting chance of turning round Wednesday night's 2-0 deficit.
The team have a good record there this season with a draw and a victory but they are acutely aware that nothing short of a three-goal win will be enough this time round. Away goals do not count double in play-off fixtures and if the overall scores are even at the end of tomorrow's 90 minutes, then extra-time and penalties will be played.
City will go I to the game without the services of defender Johnny Brown who picked up an injury against the Wasps as well as midfielders Craig Molloy and Gary Fusco. However, manager Ray McKinnon is confident that whatever the starting line-up, the players who are ultimately chosen have still a great chance of pulling off the necessary result if they play to their potential.
Wasps boss Paul Hartley had no injuries to report from Wednesday night and will again have a full-strength squad available.
The match will be handled by this season's Scottish Cup Final ref William Collum, assisted by Willie Conquer and Martin Cryans. The 4th Official is Kevin Graham.
The Brechin City Supporters bus is leaving St.Ninians Square at 11.30am tomorrow morning and anyone wishing to travel should get in touch with Andy Wilson on 07846 629717
