A Brechin City side including five trialists had a really good work-out at Thomson Park in Dundee last night against Lochee United.

The final score-line ended in a 2-0 win for the hosts, their goals coming four minutes into the second-half and a couple of minutes before the end.

Most importantly from City's point of view was the fact that both Ewan Moyes and Johnny Brown played for the full ninety minutes and came through unscathed, and both will now come into contention for a place in the starting line-up against Stranraer this Saturday in the first round of the Scottish League Cup.
