Club Policy Statement
- By
Management Committee
The Management Committee at Brechin City FC wish to make it known that The Club is committed to the development and implementation of positive policies to promote equal opportunity in all of its activities.
The Club operates a no-tolerance approach when it comes to matters such as homophobic and racial abuse and other forms of discrimination.
Everyone in and around The Club has a responsibility to ensure that an environment is maintained which is free from harassment and abuse. This includes any verbal abuse or taunts based on a person’s race, colour, religion, nationality or sexual orientation. Brechin City FC fully condemns behaviour of this type.
Supporters are encouraged to immediately report any such incidents within Glebe Park to a match steward. Full details of this and other Club policies can be found by clicking on the "policies" link from the home page of the official Club website.
The Club is also happy to publicly back a campaign, which takes place this weekend, aimed at tackling homophobia in Scottish football.
