FITBA FOR A FIVER ... at The Glebe - By Brechin City FC

“Fitba for a Fiver” at The Glebe!

The Management Committee at Brechin City has confirmed that gate entry prices have been slashed for Saturday’s final SPFL League One clash with play-off hunting Stenhousemuir.

All paying spectators – supporters of both teams – whether adult, schoolchildren or concessions – will enjoy “Fitba for a Fiver” with this one-off gate-entry price promotion.

Brechin City secured their League One status as a result of a recent victory at third-placed Stranraer and, in conjunction with last weekend’s victory at Methil against East Fife, now enjoy a comfortable 10-point cushion down to the relegation play-off spot.

City are aiming to finish the season on a high, as victory over Stenhousemuir would mean the season drawing to a conclusion with a hugely encouraging record of 4 wins and a draw in the final 5 fixtures.

Stenhousemuir have been flirting with Promotion Play-off Places throughout the season, and are expected to bring a larger support than usual to The Glebe as they seek to cheer on their favourites. The Warriors require a positive result themselves and for both Ayr United and Forfar Athletic to slip up in this 3-way quest for the final play-off position.

The “Fitba for a Fiver” promotion sits alongside an additional discounted offer, with the popular Parent & Child entry price also being reduced to £10, plus £2 for each additional child.

A spokesman for the Management Committee said, “Hopefully Glebe Park regulars – as well as occasional fans, and Warriors supporters – will turn out to enjoy this clash, this being one of the four meaningful League One clashes of the day. It’s great that there’s something of significance riding on this, the last chance to experience live SPFL action at The Glebe this season.”
