Clyde vs Brechin Preview - By Steven Mew

Brechin City travel to Cumbernauld tomorrow to take on Clyde at Broadwood. City are still chasing that vital first win after Tuesday night’s share of the spoils against Queen of the South. Despite only drawing against their fellow strugglers, it was a much improved performance from Brechin, who could have had the game won by half time. They were only denied a victory by missing some golden opportunities, hitting the post and having an effort cleared of the line.

Tomorrow's match against Clyde will be the third meeting between the two sides this season, and it's only late October. City boss Ian Campbell has stated many times that the leagues are in desperate need of reconstruction, as clubs face each other far too often in one season, even if they don't draw each other in a cup.

In the first encounter between the two sides this season, City came out on top in the Bell's Cup after extra time. The sides then met in the league in September, where City found it difficult against the Bully Wee's youthful exuberance, but still gained a point in a 1-1 draw.

City will still have skipper Paul Deas, Alex Burns, Ally Mitchell and Craig McEwan all out due to injury, while Clyde will almost have an entire squad to choose from, apart from captain Paul McHale who is still recovering from an injury.

City supporters will be allocated in the West Stand (Opposite the Main Stand). Admission prices are as follows:

Adults: £14
U18's: £5
Concessions, Senior Citizens: £7
