Falkirk - Brechin City Match Preview.
Brechin City will head west to the central belt tomorrow to face Falkirk in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup at the Falkirk Stadium.
There's no doubt that the Bairns will start as favourites given the fact that they are in a higher division than City, they are a full-time team and have home advantage but Ray McKinnon's men will enter the game on the back of a hugely impressive fourteen game unbeaten run and will certainly fancy their chances of pulling off a shock result.
The City manager has no injury worries and will name his team just prior to kick-off but it would be no surprise if he plays the same eleven that started the game against Airdrieonians at Excelsior Stadium last Saturday.
Falkirk manager Peter Houston will have to do without the services of cup-tied duo Mark Kerr and John Baird while defender Aaron Muirhead and midfielder Owain Tudor Jones miss out through injury.
The referee for tomorrow afternoon's fixture is experienced whistler John McKendrick who has refereed just one City game this season, the 2-2 draw against Stranraer at Stair Park on 23rd August.
The Brechin City Supporters Club are running a couple of buses to the game which will depart from St Ninians Square at 10.00am. At the time of writing, one bus is already full with limited spaces on the second bus. For more information, please contact Steven Stewart on 07547 552209. For those travelling by car, the post code for satellite navigation systems is FK2 9DX.
