Dunfermline Athletic v Brechin City Match Preview.
Brechin City boss Ray McKinnon has no injury worries ahead of tonight's eagerly anticipated clash against Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.
Although City did not play particularly well in their previous match against Stirling Albion on Saturday, getting the three points was the most important thing and everyone is looking forward to tonight's game which could see City jump six points ahead of the Pars with one game in hand if they manage to win. A City victory would also see them narrow the points difference between themselves and Forfar and Morton to just three points with two games in hand over both sides while leaders Stranraer sit one point ahead of the Loons and Jim Duffy's men having played the same number of games.
This will be City's second visit to East End Park this season having come away with a point in the opening game of the league campaign way back in August and they will face John Potter's side again a week today in a re-arranged league clash at the Glebe.
Dunfermline were disappointed with their performance in the 1-0 loss to Forfar on Saturday and will be looking to bounce right back this evening and with City also determined to take all three points, a cracking encounter would look to be on the cards.
The Brechin City Supporters Club are running a bus to the game which will depart from St Ninians Square at 5.30pm. Steven Stewart (07547552209) is the man to contact if you wish to reserve a place on the bus.
