The undersoil heating is on at Dens to try to ensure that Saturday's match against Brechin City will go ahead, the forecast is for sleet on Friday and light showers and sunshine on Saturday so the fixture shouldn't be in any real danger of being called off, and the squad were back at work on Thursday preparing for the game, after a day off on Wednesday. The squad had been in for double sessions on Monday and Tuesday.
