Brechin City FC AGM
The Club held its AGM last night at Glebe Park. With the raining lashing down outside it was pleasing to see a healthy turnout of over 50 season ticket holders braving the elements to attend the meeting.
The members received reports on the season past from Chairman Ken Ferguson, Secretary Gus Fairlie, Vice Chairman/Treasurer Martin Smith and Commercial Manager Grant Hood. The annual accounts were presented and approved by the members.
Chairman Ken Ferguson introduced Club Manager Darren Dodds who proceeded to address the meeting with his thoughts on the task ahead and his plans for the season. Members took the opportunity to ask questions of the Club’s office bearers and Manager.
The Club wish to record our very grateful thanks to Ian Jardine who retired from the Management Committee after 9 years of invaluable service to the Club. James Black was duly elected to the committee as with immediate effect, James played football locally with Brechin Vics, has family connections with the Club, he is a Chartered Accountant with local firm Netherton Tractors. James will take on the role of Club Finance Manager in conjunction with current Treasurer Martin Smith.
Thanks to all the season ticket holders who attended the meeting.
