Forfar Athletic - Brechin City Match Preview

Brechin City will make the short trip along the road to Forfar tomorrow hoping to gain three vital league points against their near neighbours.

City manager Darren Dods will be without the services of strikers Dene Shields and Robert Thomson for the match whilst midfielder David Weatherston's chances of playing are put at no more than 50/50.

In Dene's case the timescale on his return to first team action is now reckoned to be around six weeks which is a lot better than what was initially anticipated after he suffered ligament damage in training last Thursday night whilst Robert's thigh strain, sustained against Airdrie a fortnight ago, is taking a bit longer to clear up than was first thought although he should be available for next Saturday's home game against Ayr. David had to come off last week against Albion Rovers after suffering a groin strain and will be struggling to make tomorrow's starting eleven.

City have taken only one point from their last three games whilst the Loons will be looking to achieve their first victory in five attempts so there will be a lot at stake for both sets of players in tomorrow's fixture.

As far as Dick Campbell's team is concerned, Danny Denholm will return to the squad after missing last week's match at Dunfermline but defenders Michael Dunlop, Michael Travis and striker Lewis Allan remain sidelined.

The referee will be Monifieth based Michael Roncone.

Admission Prices at Station Park are :-

Stand - Adults - £13, Concessions - £7
Ground - Adults £12, Concessions - £6.

The Hospitality Lounge at Station Park will be open to both sets of supporters from 12.30pm until 2.45pm and again after the match until approximately 7.30pm.
