Squad Update
Isaac Layne – The Club were very hopeful of renewing Isaac’s loan with Alloa Athletic to the end of the season, however with Alloa suffering a couple of injuries they now require to retain Isaac until the players recover from their injuries. We would hope to see Isaac back at Brechin City in the not too distant future if agreement can be reached.
Lewis Spence - The Club are pleased to announce the arrival of midfielder Lewis Spence on a temporary loan contract from Dunfermline Athletic. Lewis goes into the squad for Saturday’s game with Stenhousemuir. Thanks to Dunfermline Athletic for agreeing to the loan terms.
Ross Perry – Ross sustained a serious cruciate ligament injury in the game at Airdrie. He is to undergo an operation and is expected to be out of action for the remainder of the season. With the operation costing over £4,000 the Club were hearted by a tremendous show of support from Ross’s team mates and the Club Management who have contributed towards the bill, with the Club and Ross himself meeting the balance. We wish Ross a speedy recovery.
Dene Shields – Saturday’s game with Stenhousemuir will see Dene Shields play his last game for the Club. Unfortunately Dene has decided to return to Malta for the good of his family. The Club wish to thank Dene for his efforts this season and wish him and his family a happy and successful life in Malta.
