Brechin City - Dunfermline Athletic Match Preview - By John Hoey

Brechin City - Dunfermline Athletic Match Preview

Brechin City will welcome league leaders and hot title favourites Dunfermline Athletic to Glebe Park tomorrow hoping for a completely different outcome from the previous two meetings against the Pars this season when Allan Johnston's men ran out 6-1 and 3-1 winners respectively.

It's clear that City will have to be at their very best if they are to take anything from this match but there's no doubt that the players will give their all as they attempt to grab their first three league points since December 19th when they defeated Stranraer by 2-0.

As far as team news is concerned, manager Darren Dods will have to do without the services of Lewis Spence who will not be allowed to play against his parent club while defender Darren McCormack and midfielder David Weatherston's chances are rated at 50/50. On the plus side, Paul McLean is fully fit again and looks set to make a return at the heart of the home defence.

The Match is being sponsored by Falck Safety Services who are taking advantage of a new hospitality format in the Delson Lounge while the Match Ball is being sponsored by Colin Hazelton from Aberdeen.

Admission Prices at Glebe Park are :-

Adult & Child - £15 (Plus £2 admission for each additional school-age child in family party)
Adults - £12
Concessions - £6 (Over 65's and Under 18's)

The Match Referee will be Mike Rocone who has been in charge of two City matches this season, the 1-0 win at Forfar at the end of October and the 2-0 victory over Stranraer in mid December. Let's hope that's a good omen for tomorrow!!
