City boss Ian Campbell was raging his side didn’t start to play until they were already three goals down.
"We’re bitterly disappointed. I’m actually embarrassed for my club. We were never at the races.
"As I was saying to them, you can’t just switch on after you go three goals down, we didn’t turn up in the first half and the manner we lost the goals was shocking.
"You have to learn in any league, doesn’t matter where you are playing, you can’t just turn up and expect things to happen. We didn’t put anything into the game.
"It’s frustrating for me, frustrating for the supporters and frustrating for everyone at the club. At the end of the day it’s up to me to sort these players out, but we didn’t deserve to take anything from the game.
The last two or three performances was more like the Brechin I know, but this was unacceptable. We gave them fair too much respect and what we got what we deserved.
