Brechin City - Stenhousemuir Match Preview

Brechin City will play host to Stenhousemuir in tomorrow's opening day Ladbrokes League One fixture.

The Warriors haven't had the best of starts to the new season losing their opening four Betfred League Cup fixtures against Queens Park (2-0), Airdrieonians (2-1), Partick Thistle (4-1) and Queen of the South (1-0). However, matches between the clubs in recent seasons have invariably been close and competitive and tomorrow's encounter looks like being no exception.

As far as City team news is concerned, Willie Dyer will return to the squad after missing last week's Betfred League Cup tie at Falkirk. However, Paul McLean although back in training won't be ready for tomorrow although it is hoped he'll be able to rejoin the squad for next week's away match at Albion Rovers. Gary Fusco will also miss tomorrow's match due to work commitments.

The Match Ball is being sponsored by Peter and Carol Kinghorn in memory of Arthur Sandeman and 12 year old Shaun Macdonald from Banff will be the Team Mascot.

The referee tomorrow will be Glasgow based David Munro.
