Brechin City - Queens Park Match Preview

Brechin City will be aiming to extend their three-game unbeaten run when newly promoted Queens Park come calling at Glebe Park tomorrow afternoon.

Chris O'Neil and Dougie Hill who were rested as a precautionary measure against Cove Rangers on Tuesday night after picking up knocks against Albion Rovers the preceding Saturday should both be ok for tomorrow while Alan Trouten will return to the squad after he missed Tuesday night's game because of suspension.

Manager Darren Dods will have the luxury of having a fully fit squad available for the first time this season and he will be looking for performance levels to be improved after his side made slightly heavy weather of beating Cove on Tuesday night with the final score-line of 4-1 somewhat flattering for the hosts.

The Spiders under the guidance of ex St Mirren boss Gus McPherson picked up their first league points of the season last Saturday at Stenhousemuir, winning that game by 2-1. Stenny led against the Spiders through Stephen Stirling but Darren Miller's penalty levelled matters before Josh Watt got Queen's Park's winner.

The referee tomorrow will be Mike Roncone and the Match is being sponsored by Brechin Management Committee FP's. The Match Ball is being sponsored by Isn Jardine. Day Passes will be available to the 1983 Hospitality Lounge for only £7 over gate entry price.
