MARQUEE WEEKEND 26TH – 28TH AUGUST

On the final day of our Marquee weekend (Sunday 28th August) Brechin City are holding a Family Fun Day at Glebe Park. The day begins at 2pm running through to 5pm, and entry is free.

In the marquee itself there will be teas and coffees, with home baking on sale, and a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks. On the terracing there will be a number of side shows for the children, while on the pitch there will be sporting competitions involving Brechin City players and members of Brechin City Youths. There will also be coaching sessions for the youngsters, run by members of Brechin City’s first team squad.

One of the planned events is the Brechin City manager’s 5-a-side challenge. Each team will consist of a Brechin City player, a member of the management committee and a youth team player, which will leave four places up for grabs. These places are open to all Brechin City supporters who can apply for the chance to play on the hallowed turf of Glebe Park. All you have to do is send an email to secretary@brechincity.com giving your name, age, address and telephone number. A draw will be made on Monday 22nd August at 5pm and the four lucky winners will be notified by Wednesday 24th. All applicants must be available on the afternoon of Sunday 28th August.

All in all it promises to be a perfect way to finish off our fundraising weekend, so why not come along and enjoy the fun!
