Brechin City - Livingston Match Preview
League leaders Brechin City will play host to second placed Livingston at Glebe Park tomorrow in what is undoubtedly the League One match of the day.
Both sides will enter the game on the back of 3-1 victories with City triumphing by that score-line at Ochilview last Saturday while Livi defeated then league leaders Alloa Athletic by the same margin. City will see tomorrow's game as an ideal opportunity to increase their lead at the top of the table to a possible four points while the West Lothian side will have spot top spot in the table firmly in their sights.
The teams have met once already this season, that meeting at the Tony Macaroni Arena, taking place on 17th September when the hosts ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals either side of half-time from Danny Mullen and Scott Pittman and although Alan Trouten pulled a goal back with just under twenty minutes remaining, City just couldn't find the equaliser.
As far as team news is concerned City have a slight doubt surrounding skipper Paul McLean who picked up an injury in the latter stages of last Saturday's match and although manager Darren Dods feels that 'Pabs' will probably be ok, full back Chris O'Neil who re-started full training this week after being sidelined after picking up a hamstring injury, ironically against tomorrow's opponents, will be the most likely replacement should 'Pabs' fail to make it.
