Peterhead - Brechin City Match Preview
Brechin City will make the journey north to Peterhead tomorrow hoping to get back on the victory trail after last Saturday's disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Livingston.
Manager Darren Dods has injury worries surrounding both defender Paul McLean and striker Andy Jackson with both players struggling to be fit in time and in addition, full-back Chris O'Neil who restarted full training last week after being out for the previous five weeks after picking up a hamstring injury at Livingston has suffered a recurrence of that injury in training and is a definite non-starter for Saturday.
The Blue Toon look like they're getting back on the rails after a poor start to the current campaign and have won their last three matches, last week's home victory over Stranraer preceded by excellent away wins at Airdrie and Albion Rovers so City's task tomorrow will certainly be difficult although the players will be very determined to get back into winning mode to keep the pressure on Livingston at the top of the table.
Supporters are reminded to leave in plenty of time for tomorrow's journey to take account of the extensive roadworks north of Aberdeen and it's well worth having a look at the Brechin City Supporters Club's Facebook page for advice on suitable places to go for a bite to eat and refreshment before the game.
