Brechin City - East Fife Match Preview
Brechin City will welcome East Fife to Glebe Park in tomorrow evening's live BBC Alba Ladbrokes Scottish League One encounter.
City will be hoping to end a recent lean spell which has seen them lose their last four matches although it has to be said that on Tuesday night against a very good Albion Rovers side, they looked as if they were coming back to the form they were displaying earlier in the season.
As has been the case for the last few weeks, manager Darren Dods has more than a few injury concerns to contend with as he contemplates his starting eleven. Paul McLean, Chris O'Neil and James Dale have all been ruled out while Gary Fusco will be unavailable. To make matters worse, Andy Jackson limped out of the ground after Tuesday night's match having sustained a toe injury on the opposite foot to the one that had kept him out of action for the previous three weeks and in the manager's words, "will be struggling to make it for tomorrow." On the plus side however is the good news that Dougie Hill will be available again after missing the Albion Rovers match.
The Fifers, currently looking for a new manager after Gary Naysmith's switch to Queen of the South currently sit in second bottom place in the division, and like City will be attempting to end their current lean spell, having not won a match since they defeated current leaders Livingston by 3-1 in late September.
The sides have met once already this season when City triumphed by 2-1 on 28th August with goals from Ross Caldwell and Finn Graham with Scott Robinson netting for the Fifers.
