Brechin City - Stranraer Match Preview
Brechin City's injury problems show no signs of easing ahead of tomorrow's vital league clash against Stranraer at Glebe Park. Having sustained defeats in their last five competitive matches, City will be determined to turn the tables against the Blues and with Gus McPherson's Queens Park side breathing down their necks a home win is vitally important if City are to retain their place in the top four. Manager Darren Dods will be without no fewer than five players with Chris O'Neil, James Dale, Gareth Rodger and Andy Jackson all sidelined while Elliot Ford will miss tomorrow's encounter and also the Christmas Eve clash against Alloa following his dismissal against East Fife last Saturday.
In the only previous meeting between the sides this season at Stair Park at the beginning of October a magnificent goal from Andy Jackson late on in the game propelled City to victory and a repeat of that outcome tomorrow would be most welcome.
